Mother’s Day is coming up, Sunday, May 14th. If you’re trying to think of what you can get your mother, wife or significant other for Mother’s Day, we have some Mother’s Day Gift Ideas for you. If you’re on a time or money crunch- I highly suggest this below:
Child Free Nap Time
This post contains affiliate links, that if you use, I may make a small profit from at no extra cost to you.
If this mother is anything like me, I would always love a little uninterrupted sleep. If you could just take the kids away for a period of time and let her get some nice, quality shut eye, that will make her day more than a huge expensive gift would. If you want to throw in a little extra, you could let her shower in peace too. A scream free, worry free shower- what’s that? Having a 5 month old, I honestly don’t remember the last time I had a shower where my daughter wasn’t crying, screaming or trying to stay occupied in her rock n play or Nemo Jumper while I quickly got a 5 minute rinse off. It must’ve been before I was pregnant and that feels like eternity ago. Even when my husband has her while I shower, he is usually coming in asking when she needs to eat next or change her diaper or if he should put her in her jammies now or not. I know it’s Mother’s Day and that means we all should be spending this day with our children…. So, maybe, save these favors for another day. They’re free and would be something that every mom could appreciate and may not feel like she can ask for easily.

EBATES- Save the $$$ this Mother’s Day
Ebates is awesome. All you have to do is sign up and you’ll have access to the 100’s of stores that are giving different percentages of your order back to YOU! Once you sign up, all you have to do is sign into your ebates account and then type in the store you were planning on shopping at online in the search bar. That’s it! It will automatically track the amount you spend and depending on the store, you’ll receive your cash back into your account. You can retrieve your cash back in many forms. Ebates can send you your “Big Fat Check” every quarter, you can opt for the PayPal deposit (that’s what we do) or you can ask for your $$ to be sent in the form of gift cards. Sometimes taking the rebates in forms of gift cards can be even more lucrative for you. Sometimes certain stores, like Macy’s for instance, will periodically offer you an extra X amount in rebates if you opt to receive the gift card as your form of payment. This is like getting FREE MONEY!
What is even more amazing about Ebates is, they’re starting to include some physical store locations that will offer percentages back in rebates. This is letting you keep even more of your money!!!!! AWESOME. Make sure to download the app on your phone, so you won’t ever miss it! If you’re shopping on your computer, they offer a downloadable thing that attaches to your internet bar. It is always tracking to see if you are searching for any store or place that Ebates works with. If you hop on to a participating website, Ebates will pop up saying, do you wish to activate your percent back. It’s perfect for holiday shopping and makes sure you NEVER MISS OUT ON YOUR EARNINGS. I know we are constantly surprised by how many stores are participating. In the last two or so years that we have participated, we have earned hundreds of dollars back! It’s always good to have a little extra money on hand. So, use the sign up button with my referral.
Amazon List for 4 types of Mama’s
For the Fashion Mama :
I found this adorable bracelet that says Remember I love you Mom. It’s so sweet and is a constant reminder of how much the children love their mother. It’s nice and cheap, check it out below
Cooking Inspired Mama :
The new thing out there for mamas who love being in the kitchen is the Instapot. I do not personally have one, YET. It is on my wish list though! I heard it has so many functions that I would love to take advantage of. You can turn all day slow cooker recipes into hour or less recipes. I desperately need that after ten hour work days. You can get an Instapot below.
For the Fitness Mama:
For the mama who is always trying to stay in shape. Try a cute yoga bag. This one here comes with a cute yoga mat and the bag can double as a tote that she can use to take to the gym!
For the Tech Savy Mama:
So, I absolutely love things that have a double function! Try finding mom a wristlet that doubles as a wallet and cell phone holder. I found a beautiful one that I will share with you. I think I’ll be adding one of these to my gift lists as well!
For the Mama who would rather an EXPERIENCE
If you’re shopping for the mama who would prefer an experience over a tangible or homemade gift, I highly recommend Groupon. We have used Groupon for so many gifts and personal adventures. They will save you money and still provide a great present for your Mother on this Mother’s Day. DON’T FORGET about using your EBATES sign in first before purchasing from Groupon. That will help you save/earn back even more mulah! Win, Win!!!
At the very least, make sure to tell your mama Happy Mother’s Day and find ways that she knows she is appreciated. After all, if she hadn’t gone through the absolute craziness of birth to you, you wouldn’t be here. On another note, mom’s always love homemade gifts too.
