With the Holiday seasons upon us, I figured it was time to bring up one of my favorite Christmas traditions from my childhood. Advent calendars can be very simple or they can be more extravagant.
As a child, I remember having the classic chocolate advent calendar every year. My mom didn’t always want to buy them because it wasn’t great chocolate, but it was a Christmas tradition I loved to keep up no matter how crappy the chocolate may have tasted.
If you didn’t know already, I’m big on family holiday traditions and I’ve shared a few of my personal favorites and ones that I would like to start as my own family grows. So, I’ve rounded up a variety of different advent calendars for people of varying ages from children to adults.
Feel free to share in the comments what your favorite kind of advent calendar was when you were younger or which ones you are buying your family now.
