24 Amazon Baby Registry Must Haves
So every mom to be needs a baby registry! Now you can go out and walk around the stores and use the scanner and create a registry.
But in my experience, not all stores have all the brands that you want in stock when you want to create the registry, let alone when you want your family and friends to use the registry to buy you gifts.
Not too long ago, I went to a baby store, printed out a friends list and picked a couple items I wanted to get her and her husband for their new addition to the family. Out of the 6 items I chose off the list of over 100 things, they had 1 thing in stock! ONE THING! It is super frustrating when this happens….
EDIT (at the time this was written): WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW THAT AMAZON IS NOW OFFERING A $100 CREDIT FOR ANY PRIME MEMBER THAT CREATES A REGISTRY! FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION AND DETAILS AT Baby Registry – $100 credit towards diapers and wipes
So, how do you fix it?!? Create a registry with AMAZON!
I don’t think I know of a single person who doesn’t use Amazon. I feel like 3 out of 4 people also have Amazon Prime too. So, the easiest thing to do for yourself as a soon to be mother is to create a list with Amazon. Amazon is one of the easiest baby registries for your friends and family to use as well.
An Amazon Registry is super EASY to create. You create it like you would a wishlist. People can buy from it from anywhere all over the world and have it shipped directly to you. Plus, when you create a registry with Amazon, you get tons of kick backs.
You get a FREE welcome box, registry completion discount, family discount, subscribe and save discount, free returns, free promotional incentives.
Use the image link below to find out how easy it is to start the registry. Don’t forget to add the items we share in the rest of the post to your registry. You’ll love them- at least we hope you do because we sure did!
Now that you have started your registry, it’s time to find and add the different items that you will need for baby! You want the best of the best for your little bundle. We have created a list of the top items we suggest that you add to your list.
In each category, we have listed several different options to add to your list. They’re all functional and practical. You’ll get the most bang for your buck π

But, as always, Amazon comes to the rescue with their Amazon baby registry.
Absolutely true Kathleen! I’m so glad you topped by to check out the list. We love the subscribe and save feature in our house. One extra thing crossed off the to do list automatically
These are so adorable!!!! I will share this with all my mommy friends. Im sure they will appreciate it and me as well because now I have an idea of what to get them.
Thank you so much Lisa! That means so much coming from you. I hope your patients at the clinic get some good use out of it. Have a great day and, as always, thanks for stopping by to check out the newest post! You’re a faithful reader and I’m so grateful for that <3
We don’t have Amazon here in Australia yet but a friend in the UK used it to make a wishlist and it made shopping so easy! I can definitely see it working for a baby registry like you’ve mentioned here π
Mica, I hope Australia gets with the picture because Amazon has been a life saver. We have also used the wishlists for Christmas and other holidays with our family. It has helped make everything so much easier. That way we know we are getting the person something that they actually want! Thanks for checking out the site though. We are happy you’re here! Australia is on our bucket list! One day we will make it there.
Leighann, thank you for your high praise! As I was washing bottles last night, I decided we needed another one—- again. They just don’t last as long as I wish they did.
I love Amazon! I agree with all of these! I really love Amazon’s Subscribe and Save program. It was the cheapest place I could find diapers and they were delivered right to my house! Is there anything better than that as a new mom?
That’s why I mentioned it Brittany! Subscribe and Save is AMAZING! It saves so much time, gas, energy and of course, money! We are huge Amazon fans. I’m sure the UPS/FED EX/ USPS Mail people “LOVE” us too! Hahaha
Last summer I went to a friend’s baby shower, and she had made her registry on Amazon. It made shopping for the gift really easy since I’m an Amazon Prime member. Seems like all my friends are having babies now, a trend I’m sure will continue over the next few years as we’re all in our early 30s now. So there will be plenty of opportunities to buy baby gifts on Amazon, and you really covered all the bases in this post!
Awesome! I’m glad to hear that she enjoyed using her Amazon Registry. You are definitely at the wedding and baby stage in your life with friends of that age. I hope this list helps with the baby showers, at least. Thanks for checking it out Erin. We are happy to have you at One Sharp Mama.
I love Amazon! They have everything, at great prices and who can beat the 2-day shipping with prime?
I think you picked perfect items for a baby registry! I have many of these for my kids.
I love that you included all the closet accessories! I did not even think about those things until I was organizing our nursery just a couple of weeks before I had my first son. I really wished I would have registered for them.
Thanks for checking it out Logan! We really loved putting the nursery together, which helped inspire this post. I think I need to write a post about our awesome nursery ?
”Tis is a fantastic list, I wish I’d had it 14 years ago when I had my first! You’ve covered everything! One thing I remember from having a newborn…there is no such thing as too many burp cloths! ? When you think you have enough, buy more!!!
Amazon registrys are so much better than the stores! I had 2 baby showers to shop for, one person had a registry at a baby dept. store and the other had a registry on amazon and it was so much easier to shop from amazon!
I have a total Amazon addiction! But for some reason I never thought to use it for my registries! This is genius! Will totally keep some of these items in mind for the next baby shower I attend! Thanks for sharing!
I love the nursing covers that look like scarves. I’m not sure if they weren’t around 2 years ago when I was nursing or if I just wasn’t aware of them, but that would have been so cute and convenient – especially during cooler weather.
