This carrier has changed my world.
Yeah, that’s right, you read that right. A baby carrier, has literally changed my world! I thought I loved our old carrier. It wasn’t bad, but I didn’t realize how much I was missing out on the effectiveness and comfort level that I could get from another baby carrier. As Caroline has gotten older, she’s gotten heavier (imagine that) and the old carrier was really hurting my back. I just figured this was from her weight. I had no idea that there was this Lille baby carrier out there that actually had a little back support belt built in to help relieve some of the stress of carrying a 20 lb one year old.
We recently went to Florida and I decided it was time to give our old carrier a rest and try out this new one that we had received. (We received this at no cost, in exchange for an honest review. This post contains affiliate links that if you use, I may make a small profit from- at no extra cost to you.) As usual, we take an early morning flight out so we don’t waste any second of our vacation time. As it was still in the wee hours of the morning when we pulled into the park n ride shuttle place before heading to the airport, Caroline was fast asleep in her car seat. While Dave pulled the bags out of the trunk, I threw on the new carrier with ease. This carrier can be used in 6 different positions. As Caroline was still sleeping I decided to make it easy on myself and strap her in with the narrow leg stance facing me so she could snuggle on my chest and keep sleeping.
She nuzzled right in and kept sleeping. This carrier is so much more comfortable for the both of us. It also has a hood that tucks away when not in use. It was super windy, so I pulled it out so the cold wind didn’t wake her up and take her breath away. We even had expedited security – where they use the sniffing dog and then you don’t have to take off your shoes, jacket, belt and that whole nine yards. You leave electronics and everything in your bags and it all goes through the scanner. The best part was, I didn’t have to take Caroline out of the carrier, she just stayed snuggled on mommy and we were through security in no time. It was ah-maaa-zing!
This LilleBaby carrier comes in so many varieties of patterns and options. We have the 6 in 1 complete Airflow in Frosted Rose. It’s adorable on and has received many compliments on our travels. It is made with a breathable 3D mesh material and is very versatile with its 6 different carrying positions to fit every parent on the go. As I mentioned before, we took this carrier on our trip to Florida, where we had gorgeous, sunny weather. Not thinking, I only packed Caroline pants to wear (as it’s been super cold here in Maryland). With this breathable mesh material, I never had to worry about her getting hot or over heated.
With gorgeous sunny Florida weather, also comes random rain showers. We were visiting Disney Springs (formerly called Downtown Disney) and it started to downpour, I saw a couple baby wearing parents jump into random stores trying to cover their child’s head with no luck. But, if they were using this LilleBaby carrier, they could have whipped out that hood and covered baby in a moments notice without disturbing them or their nap because of the rain.
Caroline loves facing me when she is tired but she loved facing outward the most. She can see everything at a whole new level and I can be hands free. My mom, sister, Caroline and I went to the outlets to start our Christmas Shopping while we were in the Sunshine State. I’m not gonna lie, we got a good chunk of shopping done- but with that comes plenty of bags to carry (or attempt to). So, I took Caroline out of the stroller, plopped her in her carrier and we used the stroller as our little shopping cart! She was just as happy to be up and basically on my level as we shopped than down in her stroller. The carrier is well ventilated. You know how important that is for both you and your little (especially when we were in warm FL).
Shop smarter as a mom- not harder. If you’re interested in learning how I get paid to shop and how I plan on saving money this holiday season, check out this post.
This carrier has so many neat features. You know that saying, you get what you pay for— this rings so true with this piece! I love the back support that it has. I love that it can be used in 6 different positions so it doesn’t kill your body. I REALLY LOVE that it doesn’t require an insert if it wants to be used for an infant/young baby. It can grow with the child, so exciting and so worth every penny. It has decent padding on it too, especially the “belt” that wraps around your waist. I know my old carrier ended up digging in to me. The padding on this is really comfortable. It also has a little padding strap on the back by the clasp that hooks in your mid back. This is nice so you don’t feel that clasp digging in your back throughout the day.
We have a couple other posts about carriers and the accessories you can find for them! Did you know that they make bibs and drool pads for your carriers? We found them and had to try them out. Check out our thoughts on the drool pads and bibs for your carrier! If you need a gift list for a new mom or a baby registry idea list, we have quite a few for you to check out.
*We received this complementary from LilleBaby* and we are forever thankful and blessed to be able to use it.
These are some of the awesome reasons we LOVE this carrier. We hope you get the chance to try one out!!!! Let us know what you think in the comments below.
